My Story
My name is Melanie Wied and I've been with Scentsy for 10 years. My husband, Matthew, and I live in Wylie, TX, and we've been married for 25 years. We have two girls Maddison (22) and Myranda (17).
My Scentsy journey began when a friend gave me a warmer for sewing patches on her daughter’s Girl Scout vest. Little did I know that I would quickly get addicted to Scentsy! I have always loved for my house to smell good. Then one day I forgot to blow out a candle while I went to get my girls from school. The candle broke and there was a flame on my granite counter in the kitchen. My husband said you better get more of those warmer things. Who would have thought that gift would give us so many gifts?
Every summer Scentsy has a family reunion, and we take the girls and make it a family vacation. We get to explore many cities that we would have never gone to on own. My husband and girls love history, so they explored 4 Presidential libraries, and their recent favorite is the Biltmore House. I have earned 8 incentive trips. Matt and I have been to Punta Cana, cruised the Mediterranean, Marco Island, Bermuda cruise (canceled covid), Family Disney World, Alaskan Cruise, Carribean Cruise, and Hawaii.
I don't just sell a product I sell a product that my whole family uses and stands behind. We all work this business together to reach our goals. At any time if you were to stop by an event you might see my girls or my husband helping a customer.
